PLANNINGBOOM INFORMATION

Terms & conditions.

The service, payment commitments and responsibilities for PlanningBoom business customers.

About these terms

PlanningBoom is a sole trader business supplying planning-application lead services for business use. Contact enquiries@planningboom.co.uk or 07353 757797. Your written onboarding agreement identifies the service, specification, contracting proprietor and agreed start date. These general terms apply alongside that agreement; a specific variation must be agreed in writing. The website does not create a subscription or take payment.

Your specification and onboarding

We agree your keywords, project types and working area, then provide a sample for review before regular delivery. The subscription includes a maximum of four regions. The chosen regions and their boundaries are recorded in your onboarding agreement. Entire Great Britain coverage is available through the optional coverage bolt-on. Great Britain comprises England, Scotland and Wales; Northern Ireland is excluded. Setup and the start date are agreed during onboarding.

Your subscription

PlanningBoom delivers matching leads weekly as a CSV by email and includes supported CRM API delivery, personal onboarding, sample review and support. CRM delivery depends on the system’s capabilities, permissions, constraints and third-party requirements; compatibility and scope are checked before setup. You maintain the required access and permissions. The subscription does not include printing or postage.

Subscription and coverage prices

The subscription costs £75 per month on a rolling monthly basis, or £750 paid upfront for 12 months, including up to four agreed regions. Entire GB coverage adds £25 per month or £250 per year and follows the same billing period as the subscription. The combined totals are £100 per month or £1,000 per year. No VAT is charged. Payment arrangements and due dates are confirmed during onboarding.

Renewal, changes and ending the service

Monthly subscriptions and monthly GB coverage continue month to month until cancelled before the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period. Annual subscriptions and annual GB coverage cover 12 months paid upfront; continuation after that period requires a fresh agreement. Stopping an annual service early does not create a change-of-mind refund unless agreed in writing or a remedy applies under these terms or law. Changes to regions, coverage and delivery are agreed in writing with an effective date and any price adjustment. New prices and billing terms do not change an existing customer agreement without agreement.

What the leads represent

Leads are planning applications matched to your agreed specification. Lead numbers vary with council publications, geography and criteria; there is no guaranteed minimum unless expressly agreed in writing. HOT means a newly found matching application, not verified buying intent. An application is not a contract, tender invitation, approval, guaranteed project, exclusive opportunity or request to be contacted by your business. Source information may be incomplete or change. Check the relevant record, contact role and timetable before relying on it.

Contact details and appropriate use

Contact information is included where available and is not guaranteed for every application. A contact may be an applicant, agent or another party. You are responsible for checking suitability, complying with applicable data-protection and direct-marketing requirements, and honouring objections. Public planning information does not give blanket consent for email, telephone or other marketing. Use the supplied information for your agreed business purpose and do not redistribute or resell it without our written agreement.

Optional letter fulfilment

When enabled, we print and post your predetermined, approved letter automatically to all applicable leads within the agreed fulfilment specification. The price is £2.50 per letter, including printing and Royal Mail 2nd Class postage. There is no minimum order. Charges accrue when printing or postage is committed and are billed monthly in arrears, separately from the subscription. You approve the letter, its content and relevant targeting before sending starts. You are responsible for the accuracy of your claims and offer, and for appropriate use of the recipients’ information.

Fulfilment pauses, limits and post

You may request a pause or spending limit by email or phone. We confirm the effective pause date or agreed limit in writing; do not assume a request has stopped letters until confirmed. Letters whose printing or postage has already been committed remain payable. Royal Mail 2nd Class is used without a guaranteed delivery date. We do not promise a response, sale or particular result from a letter. Tell us promptly about incorrect addresses, objections or issues affecting future mailings.

Service problems and remedies

Tell us promptly if delivery does not match the agreed specification or there is a material service problem. We will take reasonable steps to investigate and put it right. If a material failure cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, you may end the affected service and receive a proportionate refund of paid, unused service. This does not create a refund for a change of mind after an agreed term starts. Any additional exception can be agreed in writing.

Responsibility and liability

You remain responsible for qualifying opportunities, your sales process, quotations, customer agreements and work. The calculators and examples are illustrative and do not promise revenue or profit. Neither these terms nor an onboarding agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Applicable statutory rights and remedies are preserved.

Contact and updates
